Draper Music is owned and operated by Lynwood Lunsford & family. Lynwood has been involved in the bluegrass industry for over 30 years, much of that time as a professional. That kind of experience gives Draper Music a real edge over other music stores because it offers the customer access to knowledge that can only be gained through experience.

The store opened on March 16, 2002. It specializes in bluegrass and acoustic music and is often refered to as a "One Stop Bluegrass Shop". The store is open Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm EST and at other times by appointment.

Draper Music offers new/used bluegrass and acoustic instruments, cases and accessories, instruction books, dvd's and videos, bluegrass cd's, banjo, guitar and mandolin lessons, instrument setup and repair and bluegrass specialty and novelty items. It is also the home of "Axton" banjos, custom, handmade banjos built by Lynwood himself!

Draper Music is located in the Draper section of Eden, North Carolina, a part of town that is very reminiscent of Mayberry RFD! There is always an open invitation to come in and chat, pick a tune or just hang out! All advice is free and friendly!
